I ordered Throne of Darkness, apparently the code I used for a second game works. I got those points as soon as I verified having gotten my first game. It’s really cool, I suggest everyone who hasn’t joined join now.

I got something in the mail…

So, today I was with my father taking a practice drive. He wanted to go pick up the mail, I drove to the town where we pick up our mail (around 20 minutes from my house) and look at what was there:

My first reaction was: “Wow, I’ve ordered so many things, I wonder which of all of the stuff I’ve ordered this is…” So I flipped it over and this was what I saw:

I couldn’t believe it, someone paid $16.25 to send me this.

So, I thought to myself: “This is probably the FarCry game I ordered.”
I opened it up and there was a package with the  United States Flag:

In the frontal part you can see his address as well as my own. If you flip it over (I did not upload this picture) you can see that it cost him $1.79 without including tax.

Well, I opened it up and look at what I found:

Five, that’s right five CD’s and at the backside of CD #1 there is a CD Key.

Anyway, here is a picture of the whole thing:

Note: I did edit some of the pictures to remove my actual address, I only left Zip Code and City.

I got this game from Goozex. If you wish to try it out just use the links I have in the post below. This is proof that it works! As I write this I am installing the game, something I noted was that all the CD’s are in their cases and they appear to have never been opened before, I am not sure if this applies to all of them, maybe he used some special glue or something, but they CD’s do not have any scratches and they appear to be 100% new.

One (possibly two) Free Games

There is a website I found recently. It is called Goozex. When you make an account there you can get 100 free points. They have many games that are worth 100 points. So you can pick any of those out. I ordered FarCry, this is the e-mail I got:
Your game is in the mail!

First off, you need to make an account. You can do that here. When you’re making an account be sure to input the Coupon Code PS3Tag-2007 apparently  once you have received your first game you can receive 100 more points. Making it possible to receive another free game.

Anyway, after you have made the account… Look at the Special Search section and pick “Available.” Then at the left side of the screen there are many options, I recommend PC (I think it has the largest amount of free games), well, it doesn’t matter what your pick. Finally sort by Points and then pick any game that costs 100 points. Then you just have to add it to your list and you’ll get an e-mail like mine.

It appears really easy and simple. I hope it works. Post in the comment what games you plan on ordering and what results you receive. Basically, post your feedback.

Firefox 3 Beta 2

Well, I’m not sure when it came out… But today I tested the Firefox 3 Beta 2. I have to say I’m pleased with it. It doesn’t support most of my add-ons or Theme though… But it’s quite nice. You can find it here. In case you don’t know what version to get then I’d recommend the English (US) one for Windows, since it is what you’ll most likely have. There are two major upgrades, at least for me. So far I’ve liked them. The first one is a the location bar improvement this location bar, unlike the one on Firefox 2.0, looks on visited and bookmarked page titles and tags along with web addresses. This is really good for when you know you were in a website but don’t really recall the name but can at least remember or think of some possible tags, as well as saving you the time it takes to press Ctrl+H. Here is an example of this powerful location bar in action. The second major upgrade is the download manager. I can’t say much about it since I have a 56k dial-up connection and I can’t download anything too big but from what I’ve seen it’s much more stable and actually supports real pausing and resuming.

Well, I really recommend getting Firefox 3 Beta 2, but remember, you’ll lose some of your add-ons, but don’t worry, Ad Block Plus still works.
